Packaging Design
Anderson Lilley is a candle company based out of Manhattan Beach, CA. Their mission is to light the world. I help them with packaging and branding their products.
One small detail can make all the difference. Working closely with the owner we decided on patterns we thought fitting to the line. Then we worked out a pallet and finishes that would tell the story of the product. Life at the beach is the inspiration. So using a base color that is reminiscent of sand was a must. Subtle hints of gloss UV were used to make the tonal sand dollar patterns pop off of the Coastal Collection. The Winter Collection, on the other hand, was to be sleeker and attention-grabbing. The cascading pattern makes the top of packaging look like its dripping in gold. Glimmer and shine help sell the fact that it's a holiday candle.
